China Meteorological Administration and CMRC Visit ORM

On July 5th, leaders from the China Meteorological Administration’s Meteorological Navigation Center and Beijing Global Meteorological Navigation Technology Co., Ltd. visited our company to discuss the establishment of standards for meteorological navigation. During this meeting, we focused on how to further promote the formulation and refinement of meteorological navigation standards to lead the industry to a higher level of development.

During the exchange, our company's General Manager, Mr. Gao, introduced the visitors to the history, business scope, and future development direction of Ocean Right Marine. In addition, we held in-depth discussions with the visiting leaders on the current state, challenges, and opportunities in China's meteorological navigation industry. Both sides agreed that, although the industry has made significant progress in recent years, it still faces some issues and challenges, such as inconsistent service quality and incomplete industry regulations. Therefore, there is an urgent need to strengthen the formulation and implementation of industry standards to improve the overall service level and competitiveness of the industry.

The two sides further deliberated on the planning, drafting, and implementation of industry standards for meteorological navigation in China, and Ocean Right Marine is willing to actively support and contribute to the launch of these standards. Meteorological navigation, which serves shipowners and charterers, has developed rapidly in China in recent years, with domestic meteorological navigation brands capturing a significant share of the market. As such, there is a growing need for relevant authorities to provide guidelines and standards to regulate products and services in the field.

We firmly believe that the establishment and implementation of these standards will help regulate market order, improve service quality, promote technological innovation, and drive industry upgrades. We are also committed to actively promoting these standards, ensuring that more companies and clients understand and recognize them, thereby contributing to the healthy development of China’s meteorological navigation industry.
